One Small Publisher, One Perfect Guinea Pig
We are Dave and Melissa, two writers who enjoy creating stories and drawing illustrations. We especially enjoy simple stories and whimsical illustrations that are fun to read for beginning readers and picture book lovers of all ages.
Who We Are
Dave
Dave has been writing and drawing his entire life. He dreams of having a perfect cat like Fang, who can protect his pottery collection. When Dave is not writing and illustrating books, or watching his guinea pigs eat his garden, he channels his creativity into software consulting.
Melissa
Melissa is co-writer of Fang the Cat and Fang's Garden Adventure.
In addition to being an ex-engineer, Melissa is our Chief Editor and Spanish translator. She is currently writing poetry and other children's stories.
Inky
Inky was our perfect pet guinea pig. When he wasn't eating Melissa's strawberries out of her garden, or playing with his fellow guinea pig buddies, Scampers and Joel, he would be napping on our laps. All three of our GPs were a great inspiration to our story ideas and illustrations.
